Steam Whistle Brewing Toronto— Big City Love | Casey & Lucas

Steam Whistle Brewing Toronto is at the top of my list when I think of the best downtown Toronto venues. When first connecting with Casey and Lucas and learning of their venue I may have let out a little yay or eeek, either way I am a big fan of all things Steam Whistle. The space is industrial enough to feel both vintage and modern and also the perfect neutral space to allow for the decor and florals to dance throughout the room and show off their best bits.

Steam Whistle Brewing wedding Toronto

Toronto wedding planner duo, Jessy Lalancette & Laurence Diotte of STORI Events pulled it all together while the magical Jess Craven of Daring Wanderer captured these two souls on digital and film!! I know, such a gem. Wish more photographers took that notion— can’t duplicate the romance of film.

Tables were adorned in clusters of bud vases as far as the eye can see, with white florals in various heights and flowing ivory linen table runners from Event Rental Group. The glow of the candle light against the brick, rich wood beams and the caramel bistro chairs cast a warm glow amongst the guests as if a puff of love was floating throughout the main hall. Casey + Lucas, you will forever hold a special place in my heart with your big city love.

Our design of minimal and elegant florals were the perfect pairing to a September long weekend celebration, alongside the roar of the airshow flying by. The air felt like early fall, warm but with a cool breeze and the 5pm sun was golden and sitting right in between the large hall doors. The city was loud with tourists popping by for photos but nothing could compete with their ceremony glow. Filled with the most adoring granny skipping down the aisle, Hollywood style dip kiss and a crowd of Torontonians walking by to congratulate the newlyweds. It was a perfect big city moment.
