An Elegant Spring Wedding at Earth to Table-The Farm by Pearle Weddings | Emily & Kyle
If you’ve ever wondered how to create an elevated farm wedding, take your inspiration from Emily and Kyle’s celebration at Earth to Table- the Farm by Pearle Weddings in Flamborough, Ontario. From the intentionally minimal colour palette to the elegant tablescapes, every detail felt considered. As a Waterloo-based luxury wedding florist, I love designing for events like this one. I’m so glad Emily and Kyle’s wedding planner Jennifer with Tufts & Toile, introduced us!
Seasonal Florals in White and Green
To balance their rustic venue, Emily and Kyle chose a modern colour palette of whites and greens. They wanted locally grown, seasonal florals to reflect their spring wedding, arranged loosely to soften the sleekness of the monochromatic palette with an effortless, organic feel. To achieve that look, I chose tulips, peonies, and hellebores, weaving in grasses throughout for added texture. The open blooms, paired with touches of greenery, brought whimsy to the ceremony and tablescapes. I especially loved how the ivory bouquets stood out against the soft green gowns of Emily’s attendants.
Reception at The Farm by Pearle Weddings
The Farm by Pearle Weddings’ beautifully restored event barn is known for its original 19th-century wood beams. Because the floor plan is long and narrow, creating tablescapes with both fullness and height was key to highlighting the space’s best features and creating a feeling of expansiveness.
I used foam-free mechanics for the table arrangements, displaying blooms in stone bud vases of varying shapes and sizes, alongside Ikebana arrangements and petite floral meadows. The centre table, a long harvest table spanning nearly the entire space, was especially striking. Candlelight flickered across the wood, while lush florals nearly covered the surface and vintage-inspired glassware and acrylic dining chairs added a touch of modern refinement. More greenery adorned the ceiling beams on either side, visually widening the space and bridging the past and present.
The Farm by Pearle Weddings is such a stunning venue, and even more so with artful floral design layered on top! I’m so grateful Emily and Kyle trusted me to bring their vision to life. Whether you love monochromatic arrangements or can’t get enough colour, I’d be honoured to bring beauty and artistry to your wedding through florals. Kind Words from Emily and Kyle
Andreea was an absolute dream to work with! From the very beginning, she understood exactly what I envisioned and somehow brought it to life even more beautifully than I could have imagined. She struck the balance perfectly between a modern, elegant palette of whites and greens and the fact that our venue was ultimately a farm—the long harvest tables were transformed into something straight out of a magazine, and the combination of candles and varied floral arrangements created the room of my dreams! Beyond all of that, Andreea is also a wonderful person. I can’t recommend her enough—thank you, Andreea, for helping make our wedding day so magical!
